Thesis Statement

B.         Everybody knows the koala, that sweet Australian animal that resembles a teddy bear. Although koalas look like toys, they are actually strong climbers and spend their days in the treetops. Mother koalas carry their babies around from tree to tree in a pouch, or pocket, on their stomach. Although there were millions of koalas in Australia in the past, they are now a protected species of animal. As a result of human population growth, deforestation and hunting, the number of koalas has declined.
The human population growth makes of the habitat of koalas was loss, because the green area that should used to animal live in especially koalas has removed. The people built new building in green area such as a new hotel, apartment, and so on. The unique one of the characteristic of koalas is they spend their days in the treetops. Now, the koalas can’t do it again because many people cut down the trees illegally, they didn’t care about the animal that live in. But not at all the people do the deforestation. There are also many people that concern about the destruction of the rainforest. Now days there is an effort to kill the koalas, this may be because the koalas has the economic value. Most of the people try to get the fur of koalas. That's all the reason that make the number of koalas has declined.
